Porkchop in Pineapple Sauce

Oops, no. Im not converting this into a food blog. Hehe. I just wanted to document this because I did some modifications for a recipe I got online. This is supposed to be Steak in BBQ sauce. But there was no steak available in my ref, just porkchops. And I tried an alternative to Sprite which is pineapple juice (we have this on stock because Gabbie needed more fiber intake recently). It turned out great and even healthier.

1/2 kilo porkchops

1 cup pineapple juice

1/2 banana ketchup

1/4 cup water

1 tbsp peppercorns

1 tbsp minced garlic

1 pc onion- chopped

salt and seasoning- to taste

sugar- optional

1. Combine all ingredients except water in a pan.

2. Bring to boil over medium heat.

3. Add water then cook until pork is tender and sauce is thick.

4. Serve on a plate and top with pineapple chunks or bits.
